General Arabic Program

The General Arabic Program aims to teach Arabic to non-native speakers in its various forms and to develop learners' skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The program introduces students to different varieties of Arabic, including Modern Standard Arabic, Classical Arabic, and Palestinian Arabic.

The program consists of four levels:

Beginner Level: Introduces basic vocabulary, everyday expressions, and fundamental communication skills.

Intermediate Level: Develops learners' ability to use Arabic in a variety of social and academic contexts.

Advanced Level: Enhances linguistic proficiency and strengthens students' speaking, reading, and writing abilities.

Distinguished Level: Aims to achieve advanced fluency and enable students to use Arabic effectively in academic and professional settings.

Arabic for Academic Purposes Program

This program is designed in cooperation with partner universities that send their students to study at An-Najah National University. It aims to equip students with the linguistic and cultural competencies required for academic study and intercultural engagement.

The program includes the following courses:

• Conversation and Listening
  This course develops students' oral communication and listening comprehension skills through interactive activities, discussions, and real-life situations.
• Arabic Literature
  Students are introduced to selected classical and modern Arabic literary texts, enabling them to appreciate Arabic literary heritage and develop analytical reading skills.
• Palestinian Colloquial Arabic
  This course helps students communicate effectively in everyday situations using the Palestinian dialect while introducing them to local culture and social practices.
• Arabic Grammar
  The course provides students with essential and advanced grammatical structures to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of their spoken and written Arabic.
• Writing
  This course develops students' writing skills through academic and practical writing tasks, including essays, reports, and various forms of written expression.
• Arabic Journalism
  Students are introduced to the language of Arabic media and journalism through the study of newspapers, news reports, and contemporary media texts.
• Graduation Project
  The graduation project serves as the culminating experience of the program, allowing students to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired through a supervised research project or academic assignment.

Distance Learning Program

The Distance Learning Program enables students to study Arabic virtually from anywhere in the world. Through interactive online platforms, live classes, and digital learning resources, the program provides flexible learning opportunities and overcomes geographical and time barriers.

Arabic for Specific Purposes Program

This program is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and professional goals of learners. It offers specialized Arabic courses tailored to particular fields and interests, including:
