Students enrolling in the fall semester will attend a mandatory orientation week, one week before classes begin. The orientation is designed to make students feel comfortable and at home in their new environment as soon as possible.
Students will take tours around the campuses and the city, showing them where classes will be held, where to get transportation around the city, and how to get food in the markets.
An orientation session also equips students with the most relevant information necessary for living in the West Bank and understanding the local culture.
The students will go on historical tours as well and enjoy a traditional Palestinian dinner at the end of the week.
The orientation week ensures that students feel confident in their new surroundings and quickly build connections with their peers at the Institute.
