Nablus, September 2026 — The Representative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Palestine, Mr. Michel Rentenaar, has completed an intensive Arabic program for non-native speakers at An-Najah National University in Nablus.

Led by Dr. Ahmad Khouli, Director of the Department of Languages and Teaching Methods, the four-day course focused on immersive conversation and practical communication skills tailored for daily interactions and public engagement.
Upon completing the program, Mr. Rentenaar commended the Institute’s academic rigor, noting that learning Arabic is essential for building direct ties with Palestinian society and gaining an authentic understanding of the local culture.
The initiative highlights An-Najah National University's commitment to advancing language education as a bridge for intercultural dialogue and international partnership, while opening its academic expertise and educational resources to members of the international and diplomatic community in Palestine.
